Rounding Up our 2014 Reviews

The professional reviews for our 2014 vintage have been pouring in (no pun intended…) and their kind words are making us quite happy and helping ease the pain from the frost. The year began on a great note, when in the Feburary issue of Decanter Magazine, they named us one of the top 100 domaines to watch for the 2014 vintage.

Bruce Sanderson, a senior editor at Wine Spectator and the magazine’s Burgundy reviewer, also paid us a visit earlier this year and wrote about us on his blog. He had high praise for the Domaine’s Volnays as well as the Cortons of both colors. His thoughts from his visit are available online. Since his visit, the April print edition of the Wine Spectator published his reviews of our 2013 vintage, and he gave seven of our reds 90+ points.

Recently, Allen Meadows, The Burghound, was particularly enamored with the two reds from Corton we made in 2014. He says that out of the 750 2014 Côte de Beaune wines that he tasted, only three are better. You can read his full review on our website, which we regularly update with the most recent reviews and press.
